Police investigate St Patrick's Day burglary

Police are appealing for information after a burglary in Glengormley on Friday, March 17.

Commenting on the incident, Sergeant O’Neill said: “Sometime between 4pm and 9pm on March 17, entry was gained to a property on the Ballycraigy Road in Glengormley.

“A number of items were taken, including a 100-year-old silver Rolex Oyster with a white coloured face. In addition to this, a silver Breitling watch with a brown face was taken.

“Both items are of sentimental value to the homeowner. I would urge anyone with any information about this burglary to get in contact with me at Newtownabbey PSNI by calling 101.

“Alternatively, information can always be passed anonymously via the Crimestoppers charity by ringing 0800 555 111.”
