Thieves steal £600 worth of tools

Police are appealing for information after two vans were broken into in Glengormley.

The Times understands the incident took place sometime between March 24 and March 27, but details have only been made public by the police today.

Commenting on the theft, a police spokesperson said: “A businessman has reported that two sets of ladders were stolen from two vans parked at Chrysalis Hair on the Antrim Road.

“The vans were secured on March 24 and the victim discovered the ladders were gone on March 27. They are believed to be worth approximately £300 each.”
