STAFF from Baileys Global Supply in Mallusk were among 200 Diageo employees who recently completed the company’s ‘Four Site Challenge’.

The fundraising initiative saw employees walk or run between 5 and 15 miles and cycle up to 30 miles in aid of local charities, including the company’s charity partner, the Northern Ireland Hospice.

Staff from across the company’s four Northern Ireland sites - Baileys Mallusk, Boucher Road, Bushmills and Marshalls Road - are aiming to raise £10,000.

Michael McCann, Country Director, Diageo Northern Ireland commented: “As part of our commitment to invest in our communities, Diageo is delighted to support local charities and maintain our ongoing support of the NI Hospice, our dedicated charity. Our employees across Northern Ireland are proud to be part of the fundraising effort for NI Hospice and other charities and we hope the necessary funds we raise will go some way towards improving the lives of others.”
