THE Monkstown Festival is now in full swing and everyone is invited along to a ‘Big Evening Out’ on Friday, June 29 in the Church of the Good Shepherd, Cashel Drive.
The event, organised by staff and volunteers of the Church of the Good Shepherd Youth Club, Abbey Presbyterian and Fringe Youth Works, marks the official end of the Kidz Club and the end of the church’s Holiday Bible Club which has been meeting each night this week.
Starting at 6.30pm the audience will be entertained by members of the church youth club, who have been learning circus skills
They will be joined by Fatt Matt and the Great Mefiesto who will perform their amazing unicycle and juggling acts and there will also be fire breathing on show as well.
Finishing off the night will be the Ali Bennett Band, who are guaranteed to get the crowd singing.
In addition, there will be representatives from the festival’s main sponsors, Spar Twinburn, who will be handing out spot prizes on the night.
