AROUND 150 revellers gathered at Corr’s Corner Hotel recently for a gala fundraising dinner in aid of the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice and the Mission to Seafarers.

The event, which was organised by Glengormley man Christopher Rock and compered by Lucy Elle, featured a delicious three-course meal, raffles and auction.

King of Swing, Danny Conlon Jr, entertained the guests, with DJ Mal Houston playing a few tunes to round off the evening.

During the event, which raised almost £4,000, Christopher shaved his head to secure additional donations for NI Children’s Hospice.

The Children’s Hospice and the Mission to Seafarers expressed their gratitude to everyone who supported the fundraiser, with special thanks going to Christopher Rock for all his fantastic efforts making the event possible.
