Glengormley assault: Police appeal for information

Police are investigating after a 15-year-old youth was assaulted on the Antrim Road on Friday evening (August 19).

The boy had to receive hospital treatment after he was attacked by a number of unknown males in the carpark of a local fast food outlet at approximately 7:15pm.

A police spokesperson said: “Police are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the assault. Please contact Constable Parker at Newtownabbey Police Station by calling 101, quoting reference number 1141 of 19/08/16. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
