Good turnout for DUP meeting

THERE was a good turnout at Antrim Civic Centre on Friday, March 9 as the South Antrim Association of the DUP conducted its Annual General Meeting.

The speakers were Sharon Skillen, Party Development Officer, and South Antrim MP Dr William McCrea, who spoke about the many achievements of the party and its strong support for free transport for the elderly. Dr McCrea also conducted the election of officers for the coming year.

The following people were duly elected: Chairman, Trevor Clarke MLA; Vice Chair, Paul Girvan MLA; Secretary, Councillor Brian Graham; Assistant Secretary, Norma Allen; Treasurer, Paul Livingstone; Assistant Treasurer, Pam Lewis MLA; Press Officer, Sharon Boyle; Assistant Press Officer, Councillor Robert Hill; Delegates to Party Executive, Councillor Robert Hill, Alderman Billy Ball, Paul Livingstone, Councillor Brian Graham, John Smyth, Councillor Pamela Barr (stand-in).
