Have you ever had a question you wanted to ask in church?

What is the point of life? Why do people suffer? What happens when we die? Is forgiveness possible?

These and many other questions are being explored during the Alpha Course which is now up and running and will continue to be held every week over the next couple of months at Whitehouse Presbyterian Church.

The course on Wednesday evenings, affords an opportunity for people to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, low key, friendly and fun environment.

This 7th Alpha Course at the church is being facilitated by Derek Kyle and each Wednesday evening session kicks off at 7pm with an informal dinner.

The cooked meal is followed by a short talk and small group discussions. People of all backgrounds and faiths are welcome to take part, churched or non-churched.

“Alpha is for everyone, especially those wanting to investigate Christianity, new Christians, newcomers to the church and those who want to brush up on basics,” said Derek.

This is a chance to enjoy great food and laughter in a fun and friendly atmposphere, where no question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile - so do join in this life-changing course at Whitehouse Presbyterian Church, 143-145 Shore Road, Newtownabbey.

There is no charge for the Alpha Course, though participants may be asked to make a contribution towards the food.
