Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) is calling on the public to share their views on its draft People at Risk Strategy.
The strategy is aimed at taking all the practicable steps to reduce risks for the safety of people in Northern Ireland with a particular emphasis on keeping them safe from the dangers of accidental fires in the home.
NIFRS is keen to hear from the public and interested stakeholders on the draft strategy. It is designed to complement the current Fire Safety Strategy for NIFRS with a particular focus on protecting those who are deemed “at risk” in the community. Consultation documents can be downloaded from www.nifrs.org or hard copies are available by calling 9266 4221, on email email@example.com or from the Community Development Department, Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service Headquarters, 1 Seymour Street, Lisburn, BT27 4SX.
You can also follow the NIFRS on Facebook. The public consultation period is underway and runs until February 22.
