Have your say

NEWTOWNABBEY Council is asking residents to have their say on the borough’s leisure facilities.

Local people are being invited to take part in the Active and Healthier survey.

The questionnaire can be found online, in the latest winter edition of Source magazine or copies can be obtained from local leisure centres.

Residents can give their views on the council’s leisure centres, play parks, walking routes and cycling provision.

The questionnaire only takes a few minutes to complete online, or it can be returned freepost to the council.

Lisa Hall, the council’s Customer Services Officer, said: “Newtownabbey Borough Council aims to promote the health and well-being of everyone in the borough by offering excellent leisure and cultural experiences.

“It’s really important that we get local residents’ views on our services so that we can continue to improve.”

Completed surveys will be entered into a draw to win some fantastic prizes to help people get active including gift cards for Chain Reaction Cycles, Halfords and Carnmoney Cycles as well as Zest Gym membership.

Theatre tickets with pre-theatre dinner are also up for grabs.

Return your survey to Customer Relations, Newtownabbey Borough Council, FREEPOST BEL 3552, Newtownabbey, BT36 5BR or complete online at www.newtownabbey.gov.uk/sayit.asp before Monday, December 17.
