A SERIES of GriefShare recovery support group meetings will take place at Carnmoney Presbyterian Church during March, April and May.
The first of 10 sessions will take place at the church on Thursday, March 21 at 7.30pm, continuing at the same time each Thursday for a further nine weeks.
GriefShare, which is running at the Carnmoney Road church for the seventh year, is aimed at anyone grieving the loss of a family member or friend.
The group is sponsored by people who understand the hurt and pain people go through when someone close to them dies, and can offer comfort and encouragement to help them cope.
Each session will include a video seminar featuring real life stories and advice from top experts on grief and recovery subjects. Participants will also get the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a recent loss and discuss what they have seen on the video.
GriefShare is a non-denominational group and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. Anyone grieving the loss of a loved one is welcome to come along.
