Higher fence to be erected at Glengormley park

North Belfast MLA Paula Bradley has welcomed a decision by Roads Service to raise the height of the perimeter fence at Sandyknowes Park.

“Having been contacted by residents of Dorchester Avenue, Drive and Gardens about ongoing problem of anti-social behaviour in Sandyknowes Park, I recently arranged a site meeting with representatives of Newtownabbey Borough Council, the PSNI and Roads Service to discuss this matter,” she said.

“Following representations to Roads Service, I am pleased to note that they have agreed to erect a fence at a higher level to tie into the adjacent fence owned by the council. This work is due to be completed within the next two months,” the DUP representative added.
