WHITEABBEY-based solicitors Magennis & Creighton are supporting Macmillan Cancer Support for will writing month throughout November.

For a suggested minimum donation of £50 the firm will waive its fees for its will writing service.

Macmillan depends on the majority of its funding coming from voluntary donations and all funds raised will help support its important cancer services across Northern Ireland.

Nicola Lowry, a partner with the law firm, said: “Magennis & Creighton Solicitors are very proud to volunteer our legal expertise to help Macmillan Cancer Support.

“Last year we raised over £500 and would hope to match if not exceed that amount. We are personally aware of the valued support that Macmillan have and continue to give to our clients.

“The money raised from this free will writing initiative will help Macmillan continue to provide vital support services to people affected by cancer.”

Joanne Young from Macmillan added: “We are extremely grateful to Magennis & Creighton for supporting Macmillan through this initiative. Whether people choose to donate now, in their wills or both, their support is vital to ensuring that more Macmillan services will be available to future generations of people affected by cancer in Newtownabbey.”
