Ballyclare to host Junior Orange parade

The Orange Order’s Belfast Junior County Lodge is to hold a parade in Ballyclare early next year.

The council’s Development Committee has approved use of Sixmilewater Park as the demonstration field for the event on Easter Tuesday, April 7.

The parade of 13 lodges and 13 bands is scheduled to leave Mill Road at approximately 12.30pm, making its way through the town centre and along the Doagh Road before turning down through Ollardale onto Avondale Drive, arriving in the park at around 1.15pm.

The return parade is due to set off from the park at 3.30pm.
