Carnmoney singing sensation Leah McFall is to release her long-awaited debut single next month.

‘Home’, which features Black Eyed Peas front man and Leah’s musical mentor will.i.am, is due to be released on July 27.

The track received its first plays on UK radio this week, much to the delight of Leah’s fans, particularly her more than 150,000 Twitter followers, who gave it rave reviews.

The 24-year-old former Antrim Grammar School pupil, who began singing at Glenabbey Church near Glengormley, was performing in the USA this week but is said to be “very excited” about the pending release of her first single.

The former fashion student, who now lives in London, was the stand-out star of the second series of hit BBC TV talent show The Voice, which aired in 2013.
