More than 270 homes to get double glazing

Window replacement schemes are scheduled to begin later this year in areas of Monkstown, New Mossley and Ballyclare.

The Housing Executive has confirmed that double glazing installation work is scheduled to start in November at properties in Ballyalton Park, Ballycraigy Gardens, Ballycraigy Park, Ballyvesey Court, Ballyvesey Green, Ballyvesey Park, Ballyvesey Rise, Bryson Court, Bryson Gardens, Bryson Park, Bryson Square, Carntall Court, Carntall Rise, Carntall View, Carntall Way, Manse Court, Manse Green, Manse Rise, Manse Terrace, Manse Walk, Manse Way and Plantation Avenue.

A spokesperson for the Executive said that work is also scheduled to begin in November at 58 properties in Ballyclare, bringing the total number included in the schemes locally to 272.

DUP MLA David Hilditch welcomed the planned works as good news for Housing Executive tenants.

“Housing Executive tenants have been patiently waiting for this to happen for quite some time and can now look forward to this work being completed,” he said.
