Petite Feet Day Nursery manager Aaron Ferguson took on a challenge of a lifetime when he abseiled down the Europa Hotel in Belfast and raised £1,569.70 for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.

Commenting on the fundraising challenge, Aaron said: “It was unanimously agreed by both parents and staff that we wanted to do something to support the children’s hospice. The hospice is on our doorstep here in Glengormley and it’s the only dedicated palliative care service in the province, so we’re delighted to support it any way we can.

“I would like to thank everyone who supported our fundraising efforts and hope that this amount will help make a difference.”
