A state-of-the art ‘iTeach’ conference for IT technology and education experts was hosted at Mossley Mill recently.

Representatives from the education sector gathered at the Meet at The Mill conferencing and event facilities to learn how the iPad and other innovative products are revolutionising the way schools can teach.

The two-day conference, attended by 400 delegates each day, was the largest ever conference organised by iTeach.

Ursula Fay, the council’s leisure and culture development manager, said: “The conferencing, meeting and event facilities at Mossley Mill have hosted a variety of events since launching in 2010, but the iTeach event was by far the largest.

“The two-day conference showcased how flexible and diverse the event facilities at The Mill are. We look forward to welcoming more events of this scale in the future.”
