Video: Agnew and DeCourcy top polls

Veteran councillors Fraser Agnew and Billy DeCourcy topped the polls in their respective District Electoral Areas.

Alderman Agnew, Newtownabbey’s Mayor, polled 1,275 first preferences in Threemilewater, while Alderman DeCourcy secured 844 first preferences in Macedon, just 14 ahead of Alliance’s Billy Webb.

Deputy Mayor Dineen Walker, a DUP candidate in Macedon, was eliminated on the first count after winning just 256 first preferences.
