Annual flower show at Hyde Park Presbyterian
THE 83rd Hyde Park Presbyterian Annual Flower Show will be held at the Church Halls in Mallusk on Saturday, September 11.
Mrs Jean Long, Divisional Managing Director of Johnston Publishing NI will open the show at 3pm, with President, Reverend Paul Dalzell.
Entries for the competition will be received on Saturday morning between 9am and 11.30am.
Entries are welcome in the following classes - cut flowers, vegetables, fruit, cakes, homemade breads, preserves, photographic and young peoples'. For a schedule, contact the secretary on 028 9084 4199.
Meanwhile, all donations of flowers, vegetables, fruit, cakes, bread and preserves, not for competition, will also be gratefully received and gifts for the gift stall welcomed.
Afternoon teas with home baking will be available at the show. Proceeds in aid of church funds.
