Busy week ahead for Ballynure Presbyterian

BALLYNURE Presbyterian Church is preparing for a busy week when, in addition to all its normal activities, the fundraising group has organised a Fashion Show ne Ballyclare Secondary School on Wednesday, February 3.

Fashion for men and women will by Joli, while the children, up to age 16, will be supplied by DKS. Bonita is providing shoes and handbags, The Loft will beautify, and Caroline of Carol Hair will add the finishing touches to the models.

The models, including the Minister Rev. James Rogers, are all from the church so it promises to be a great night's craic. The sponsors will also be offering loads for bargains for purchase on the night.

Bob Esler is the compre and the evening will also include a hot finger buffet. Further information and tickets can be obtained from Sharon McCowan at Ross's Joint), any of the shops mentioned, or from the church office by ringing 9335 2965.

Then, on Sunday, February 7, members of Donaghadee Male Voice Choir, will be special guests for an evening of praise in the church at 7pm.

The large choir, under its musical director, Robert H Wilson MBE, is widely travelled and in great demand all over the world.The group remains as popular as it was 75 years ago when it was formed in the County Down seaside port.

Supper will be served at the end of the service and the choir will sing again to bring the evening to what it is hoped will be a successful and inspirational conclusion.
