Church gets ready for anniversary fete
HYDE Park Presbyterian Church is hosting its 10th Anniversary Fete in the church grounds on the Mallusk Road tomorrow evening (Friday, June 25), from 7pm until 9pm.
Events will be similar to those held in recent years and include many activities for young people plus fun for all the family.
There will be a Fancy Dress Parade at 7pm and all who dress up will get a gift. Entry fee is 50p.
There will also be a variety of stalls selling cakes, plants, bric-a-brac, books, videos, cds, crafts and many other attractions on offer.
Games will take place throughout the evening.
There will also be hot food on sale in the car park, and teas with apple tart inside the church halls.
Live music is also being provided and there is car parking near by.
"We look forward to seeing you and your friends," said Meta Linton, church publicity officer.
"All donations from this event will go to the Mission Outreach Fund."
