Man wielding machete robs Chinese take-away

A MAN armed with a machete robbed a Chinese take-away in Ballyclare last Thursday, November 15.

The man, described as 6ft tall, of slim build, wearing black clothes and speaking with a local accent, entered the Main Street premises around 11pm armed with a machete before making off with a sum of cash.

A number of people were in the shop at the time, but no-one was injured in the incident.

Police have appealed for information and urged anyone with information to contact them.
