New Minister for Ballylinney

THE Rev. Emerson McDowell B.Agr., M.Div., Dip. Mm. has been installed as the new Minister of Ballylinney Presbyterian Church.

Rev. McDowell served as Associate in Wellington Presbyterian Church, Ballymena for a number of years, and was heavily involved in the relocation of that congregation into newly built church buildings. He worked for 11 years as an agriculture advisor in the Limavady area, prior to taking up the challenge of theological training in 2002.

The congregation of Ballylinney has been vacant since the retirement of Rev. Roy Vallely last February, and the congregation look forward to this new phase of ministry with Rev. McDowell.

The congregation warmly welcomed Rev. McDowell, his wife Paula, and children, Madeleine and Lewis to the manse, and wished them every blessing.
