Teenager arrested after trouble at Loughshore

POLICE attended the Loughshore car park in Jordanstown at around 10.45pm on Saturday, August 28, following reports of a number of youths fighting in the area.

A 19-year-old male was arrested at the scene for assault on police and disorderly behaviour.

The male broke free from police and made off towards the Jordanstown Road.

He was subsequently arrested in the Rathcoole area on August 29 and released on bail pending further enquiries. Two other males aged 20 and 18 will be the subject of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

It is believed the incident took place on one of the nights of this year's Shoreline Festival.
