THERE’S just a few days to go until the Mayor’s Charity Fashion Show hits the runway at the Theatre at The Mill.

And this week Mayor Billy Webb teamed up with some local retailers to go over a few final preparations to make sure everything runs smoothly when the models stride out on the big night.

Alderman Webb was also joined by some little local stars who will help to light up the catwalk. This is the first year the event will have a kids’ section and the ‘mini models’ will certainly add some sparkle to what is already set to be an evening of fashion and fun.

Nuala McKeever will compere the event on Friday, April 20, which will showcase fashions from local retailers Joli, Bonita Shoes, Roundabout, Corsage, Burton, DKS Designer Kids, Gail Conway Boutique, Shoe La La and Naomi Bridal. Make up will be by Ravin’ Beauty and hair by Karma Hair Design.

The fashion show is being organised to raise money for the Mayor’s three charities - the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, Gis a Hug Foundation and Medecins Sans Frontieres.

The show kicks off at 7.45pm and tickets priced £12 and £8 (Concessions) are available from the Theatre at The Mill box office on Tel: 028 9034 0202 or online at www.theatreatthemill.com

Pre-show dinners can also be booked at the Mossley Mill restaurant by telephoning 028 9034 0022.
