Motorcyclist killed in Ballycarry crash is named

The motorcyclist who was fatally injured following a road traffic collision on Ballycarry’s Larne Road on Tuesday January 13 has been named.

He was 26-year-old David Christopher Pollin from Greenisland.

The collision involving a lorry occurred shortly after midday.

Speaking at the time, Inspector David Anderson said: “I would appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who was travelling on the Larne Road around the time of the collision to contact the Collision Investigation Unit at Steeple Police Station or local police at Larne on the non-emergency number 101.”
