South Antrim MP William McCrea has congratulated Ballyclare Royal Black District Chapter No. 6 on their “excellent organisation” of the Co Antrim Grand Black Chapter Demonstration on Saturday, August 30.
“The organisational skills displayed for such a momentous occasion is worthy of the highest commendation and all those who participated did so with great dignity, bringing honour to the Institution,” Dr McCrea said.
Describing it as “an honour” to walk with the Ballyclare brethren, the DUP man added: “The massive turnout in Ballyclare, of bands, brethren and the community, was a testimony to how special this day is to the Protestant community and a demonstration that was enjoyed by all true democrats.”
