A new residential development in Rathcoole, consisting of 18 homes, has been welcomed by local political representatives.
The properties in the Deerfin Park development, which is made up of two and three -bedroom houses, will be released at the beginning of October.
A spokesperson for the Newtownabbey Progressive Unionist UP branch said: “It is positive to see local engagement with Helm Housing has resulted in homes being built in Rathcoole.

The PUP spokesperson added: “Children from the local school will be part of the official handover on October 4 due to the role they have undertaken in looking after a small garden area.
“I hope that the familes that make these houses their new homes are very happy there
“This is a success for the community. Well done to the all involved.”
