A Level results: Belfast High principal '˜thrilled' with 100 per cent pass rate

Belfast High School pupils once again achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in their A Levels.

An incredible 94 per cent of all exam entries resulted in an A*-C grade, making the 2016 results the school’s best to date.

Just over 86 per cent of students achieved at least three A*-C grades, with 31 pupils attaining three A grades or better.

A statement issued on behalf of principal Mrs Lynn Gormley and acting principal Mrs C. Weir said: “We are extremely proud of our students and thrilled with these results which are the result of much hard work on the part of pupils and staff, as well as the support of parents and governors.”
