Clarke calls for long grass to be cut across South Antrim area

South Antrim MLA Trevor Clarke has raised the urgent need of grass cutting in South Antrim, with the Minister of Infrastructure.

Commenting on the matter, the DUP representative said: “Grass cutting is a simple task, but a vital one for many reasons. It’s obvious driving round my constituency that there is an urgent need for grass cutting throughout and it must be addressed urgently. It is more noticeable at roundabouts and at the end of roads, where there is a safety element, as many cars are having to drive past the white lines in order to see if there is on-coming traffic; this could cause a serious accident. I have therefore raised the matter with the new Minister of Infrastructure, asking that action be taken immediately.”
