Doagh collision: '˜Man critical, but stable'

A man remains in a '˜critical, but stable' condition in hospital after being struck by a car near Doagh in the early hours of Sunday morning (February 7).

Police are appealing for information following the collision, which occurred on The Burn Road at approximately 12.15am.

The man, who was a pedestrian aged in his 50s, was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries. His condition is currently believed to be ‘critical, but stable.’

Police have issued an appeal for information regarding the collision.

Sergeant Gail McCormick said: “I would ask anyone who may have seen this man walking in the area, or who may have witnessed this RTC involving a grey Vauxhall Astra, to contact Antrim Police Station on the non emergency number 101.”
