Mayor meets with Secretary of State
Secretary of State James Brokenshire MP met with Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Cllr John Scott at Antrim Civic Centre on Wednesday, August 17.
Topics discussed included victims issues, the amalgamation of the two legacy councils, the future of local government and the new EU-funded V36 park development beside the Valley Leisure Centre.
The two men were joined at the meeting by South Antrim MP Danny Kinahan.
Mr Brokenshire rounded off his visit to Antrim and Newtownabbey with lunch at Mossley Mill.
