Pupils congratulated at Edmund Rice College

The students at Edmund Rice College were praised after 93 per cent of the boys achieved five or more good GCSE grades.

Mr Friel, the Principal said: “I am delighted with the results and for the boys, my fulsome congratulations to them. I thank them, and very importantly all the staff in the school, on their hard work and dedication. Many of the boys will now return for A Level study.

“The school offers a broad range of Post 16 courses and a limited number of places remain available for external entrants.

“Our A Level results last week were also outstanding with 100 per cent of the boys passing at least two A Levels, 92 per cent achieving three A Level passes and 62 per cent achieving A Levels at grade C or better.”
