Northern Ireland Hospice has announced that its recent ‘Jail Break’ fundraiser held at Crumlin Road Gaol raised the fantastic total of £32,621 for the Children’s Hospice.
Macedon councillor Billy Webb, chairman of the NI Hospice, took part in the annual event. He has thanked all those who helped him raise £2,781 towards the overall total.
“I was overwhelmed by the number of friends and colleagues who supported me in this fundraising event,” he commented.
“It costs £30 to provide one hour of specialist nursing care at the Children’s Hospice, so support like this means so much to the children who need the services of Horizon House, and their families.
“I would like to thank everyone who contributed to my total and all the others who took part in this event.”
