THE O2 Abbey Centre store joined with branches across Northern Ireland to raise a fantastic £1,500 for local breast cancer charity Pretty ‘n’ Pink.

The funds were raised as part of the recent ‘I Love Mum’ Mothers’ Day promotion held at O2 outlets at Abbey Centre, Kennedy Centre, Magherafelt, Armagh, Cookstown, Strabane, and Limavady.

Customers were encouraged to make a charitable donation in return for a specially branded shopping bag, as well as support the charity’s bra recycling campaign through the donation of unwanted bras.

Noeleen McErlane from the charity said: “We are delighted to be supported by O2 and would like to thank all staff involved for their hard work and dedication in supporting us as well as all customers who visited the stores recently for their generosity.

“Funds raised from the promotion will remain within Northern Ireland and be used to help provide practical financial assistance to breast cancer patients and their families.”
