With support from the Little Beauty Rooms, Mary Kay Cosmetics and a number of other beauty professionals, Ashgrove Primary School PTA held a successful ‘Girls Night In’ pamper night on Friday, March 7.

The pamper night fundraiser was attended by 70 mums and girls, who availed of beauty advice, had their nails done and received relaxing massages.

The event was a first for the PTA at Ashgrove as they start to focus their fundraising efforts on raising money to purchase iPads for the school. And due to its success, it’s an event they plan to build into their calendar of future fundraisers.

Commenting on the pamper night, a representative of the PTA said: “Nearly all of the PTA are working mums, so we know how tired mums are by the time it gets to Friday night. We wanted to offer a night of relaxing and pampering and we are delighted with how successful it was, raising over £500 which we can now put to good use for the school.”
