We live in a world that is rapidly changing. Consider the fast changing world of technology, for instance, with its many new gadgets, iphones and the like. Although they can’t make coffee. We certainly live in a rapidly changing world. Even Bob Dylan, way back in the 1960’s, sang a song about how the ‘Times, they are achanging.’

There is one thing, however, that will never change, and that we can be absolutely sure of, the eternal love of God.

His love for you is eternal and cannot in any way, shape or form be changed by anything that you do, should it be good, bad or indifferent.

Billy Graham spoke often of the love of God and how important it was for all people to know the love of God through Jesus Christ. These are his words: “God is unchanging in His love. God commended His love toward us that while we yet sinners, Christ died for us. God still loves. And He loves with such an everlasting love that He gave his son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to die for you. And if were it not for that, there is no hope in the world, for when the Lord Jesus Christ died on that cross He had you in mind. He took your sins and your failures and laid them on his son, Jesus Christ. He didn’t deserve to die. But He did it because He loved you. And this is the great thing about the Gospel. It’s the great thing about the Bible. It’s the great thing about God. God is love.

When all else is changing around you, when relationships change and even fail, you can be sure that God’s love for you is constant and eternal.

He loves you and wants you to know Him. Do you know Jesus?

He’s waiting for you to spend just a moment and thank him for that eternal, unchanging love, a love that never fails.
