POLICE are investigating after a petrol bomb was thrown a flat in Whitehouse Court at around 11.30pm on Sunday, February 26.
Minor damage was caused to the window and blinds of the first floor flat, however, there were no reports of any injuries.
Detectives are investigating a possible link between the attack and an earlier report of an assault at the same complex. In that incident, which was reported at 6am on Sunday, a 47-year-old man sustained facial injuries and a suspected broken jaw.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to either the assault or petrol bomb attack to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their name they can contact the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
