Police seized six petrol bombs following a disturbance in the O’Neill Road area of Newtownabbey on Wednesday night.
At around 10.30pm a number of missiles were thrown at police lines by a group of youths.
Police said a laser pen was also used on a vehicle.
It’s the fifth night police have faced violence in the area which flared after a Parades Commission determination barred an Orange Order march from passing the Ardoyne shops in north Belfast.
There have been several arrests in Newtownabbey in connection with the violence including that of a 12-year-old boy.
On Wednesday, a 36-year-old man was charged with possession of petrol bombs following a disturbance in the early hours of the day.
He is due to appear in Belfast Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Six teenagers have also appeared in court charged with riotous behaviour on the O’Neill Road over the past week.
