Police appeal after man dies in M2 incident

POLICE have appealed for information following the death of a man on the M2 on Wednesday morning.
It’s believed the man fell from the Hightown bridge in Glengormley around 7am and was hit by a passing car.
The motorway was closed shortly after the incident along with the Hightown Road while investigators examine the scene.
There was widespread traffic disruption for most of the morning and police appealed for motorists to remain patient.
The PSNI have said the death was not suspicious and have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed something around the time of the incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
