Police probe arson attack

Detectives have issued an appeal for information following an arson attack in the Ballyclare Road area of Doagh in the early hours of Saturday morning (March 17).

At around 4.15am, police received reports that two vehicles, a car and a van, had been set on fire.

Firefighters attended the scene and both fires were quickly extinguished. No-one was injured during the incident, but both vehicles were extensively damaged.

Police said they are still trying to establish a motive for the attack and stressed that enquiries into the incident are continuing.
