Police have issued an appeal for information following a theft at a clothing store in Ballyclare.

The incident happened on Wednesday, October 16, but police only released the details this week.

At around 2.40pm, two unknown males entered retail premises in the Granges Street area and placed a number of clothing items into a red carrier bag before leaving without paying.

One of the men is described as being in his early 30s, with a bald head and was wearing denim jeans, a black jacket with a green logo on the back, and a blue and white t-shirt. The other man is described as also being in his early 30s, of medium build, wearing grey tracksuit trousers and top which had a hood and blue stripes running down the sleeves; he had short, light coloured hair.

The men left the premises and got into a silver coloured car which was driven off towards Park Street by a third, unknown male.

Police are urging anyone with information about the theft to contact investigating officers at Newtownabbey Station on 0845 600 8000.
