Police seek witnesses to Rathcoole ‘altercation’

Police are appealing for information about an altercation in the Nendrum Gardens area of Rathcoole on Monday, January 18.

The incident, which involved what police have described as “a verbal altercation with a potential hate motivation”, took place at around 3.30pm.

A police spokesperson said: “If you were in the area at the time or have any information which may be of use to police, please contact Constable Prentice of Newtownabbey Police Station on telephone number 101 quoting reference serial 667 of 18/1/16. Alternatively please contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
