Residents told to '˜leave bins out'
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council has issued an apology after bins were not emptied today.
A spokesperson for the local authority said: “Today’s refuse collections for black bins in the Ballyclare area have not been completed. Please continue to leave your bins out, collections will be completed tomorrow. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.”
The development comes after some bins in the Newtownabbey area were not emptied on Monday, February 19.
