There was a great turnout for Kilbride Presbyterian Church’s recent annual treasure hunt.
A total of 37 teams took part in the event, doing their best to work out the tricky clues set by William Duddy.
The hunt was approximately three miles around the local area and there were clues for both experienced and novice hunters.
Competitors returned to the hall at around 9.15pm to hand in their papers and enjoy a delicious buffet supper set out by the Kilbride Catering Committee. A fun quiz, set by George Acheson, kept everyone busy while waiting for the results.
Rosemary Holland thanked everyone for their help and support with the evening and asked William Duddy to reveal the results.
The overall winner was Sean Haveron and his team who received the William Hoy Memorial Trophy.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Church Property Fund.
The church’s minister, Rev Karen Campbell, brought the very enjoyable evening to a close.
