FOLLOWING on from the sell-out success of their production of Calamity Jane at the Courtyard Theatre, Ballyearl back in April, Fortwilliam Musical Society are now getting excited about their summer scheme for young people.

The Fortwilliam Musical Society Youth Group Summer Scheme will take place in Ekenhead Memorial Halls on the North Circular Road, Belfast, from Friday, August 3 to Monday, August 6, between 10am and 4pm.

It will offer workshops in dance, drama, and singing and is open to any children aged Primary 6 up to 18 who have a love of musical theatre or drama.

The scheme costs £30 per child and all young people from the area are encouraged to sign up. The scheme is not just open to existing members of the company, but to any newcomers as well.
