POLICE are investigating the theft of a car, which was later destroyed in a fire, from the Fairview Avenue area on Saturday, March 10.

At around 10.30am it was reported that a car was on fire in the Ballyduff Brae area following a road traffic collision.

The car, a grey Skoda Octavia, had been stolen a short time earlier in the Fairview area and was completely destroyed in the incident.
