Sweets and cigarettes stolen in Glynn Spar burglary

Detectives in Larne are appealing for information following the report of an alleged burglary of a Spar shop in the Glenvale Park area of Glynn in the early hours of Monday September 19.

Detective Constable Skillen said: “It is reported that at approximately 2.15am this morning, two unknown males damaged the shutter of a shop and entered the premises.

“They then left carrying gym bags and got into a red saloon car which had been sitting outside the shop.

“A third unknown man who was the driver of the red saloon then sped off in the direction of Ballynure.

“It is reported that a number of cigarettes and confectionary were taken from the shop.

“Detectives would ask anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information to contact them on the 101 number.
