A CARNMONEY teenager has been left heartbroken after thieves stole her MTV EMA Snow Patrol tickets during a burglary in her Fairview Drive home last night (Tuesday, November 1).

The thieves entered the house around 6.15pm and ransacked Chloe Mutch’s bedroom.

They made off with the 16-year-old’s tickets for this Sunday’s MTV Snow Patrol outdoor concert at Belfast City Hall.

Her mother, Sandra, said the thieves must have been watching their home.

She said: “I had just left for the shops, I was gone for 10 minutes and in that time they were in and out - they knew exactly what they were looking for.

“There was a laptop and an iPhone just sitting out downstairs, but instead they went straight to Chloe’s room and turned it over.

“The tickets would not have been easy to find, they were in a drawer in a plain envelope in a stack of paper, so they must have known they were there.

“I’m totally gutted for Chloe, she is devastated, these people are just scum.”

The family have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact the police.

Meanwhile, if you can help Chloe get tickets to this Sunday’s concert, then please call the Times now on Tel: 028 9084 3621.
